Tomorrow is a Different World
Engaging the power of the imagination
The maxim still holds true that one picture is worth more than a thousand words. It may be due largely to the way our mind works. Memory improves immeasurably when images are involved than when it is dependent only on dry, abstract concepts. Scientific tests have long confirmed this efficacy of visual memory over verbal. Some studies show that, for several days after first exposure to vivid images, people correctly recall 98% of what they have seen. Recognizing this, the DTN captures the flow of discussions and our in-depth interviews with experts in bright, vivid visualizations, and not simply in words. The visualisations are produced in both real-time – during workshop discussions – or in reflections after the event.
